SUGGESTIONS FOR VINYL FRAME CONSTRUCTION


 
 
The frame is constructed of ½” PVC pipe.  (Larger frames require larger diameter tubing).  When using pockets, cut to length pieces are run through the pockets on top and bottom leaving an inch on either side for joining.  Two lengths of PVC make up the vertical support between those two horizontal pieces.  Those pieces are cut to a length that requires some stretch of the banner so it is taught.   For joining at the top, use two right angle joints.  The bottom is joined with two tee joints.  The tee joint leaves holes through which one can mount feet so it can be free standing.  When not using the feet, the tee joints act to keep the banner off the ground.  Cement the vertical PVC and the joints but do not cement the horizontal PVC so the frame and poster can be taken apart for transportation.

Care of the Vinyl:  Never Fold.  Roll and wrap with a cloth or plastic covering to further protect against scratches.  Store in the shipping container.
